Paraffin is an additive mainly to polyester gelcoats, necessary when it is necessary to apply the gelcoat to the outer surface of the finished laminate. Gelcoat with the addition of paraffin corrector is topcot. By adding paraffin to the gelcoat, we will stop the phenomenon of oxygen inhibition, which is the reason why the gelcoat does not dry out and the surface remains sticky.
Recommended amount of paraffin 2%-5%.
Mixing proportions of ingredients: gelcoat: hardener: paraffin 100:3:2-5
