Epoxy fillers are primarily the only fillers recommended for use on hull components constantly immersed in water.

However, they can be successfully used both above and below the waterline.

Small repair caused by the action of osmosis.
Healed minor damage, small cracks and scratches.
Easy to mix and application.
Cans contain a volume of components where is left place for mixing components.
The advantage of this filler is convenient, relatively short curing time.
40 minutes – pot life 20°C
15 hours – hard for sanding 20°C
2:1 – mixing by volume
100:50 – mixing by weight
The previous layer: epoxy primer Sea-Line, two-component paints.
The next layer: epoxy Primers, 1K universal yachtprimer , antifouling paints.

Possible causes

Wrong viscosity and spraying technique,
Failure to maintain proper evaporation time and thickness of layers,
Incorrect spraying pressure,
Too low temperature of varnish, surface or space ,
Wrong thinner or hardener.

How to prevent

Apply the right type of application method indicated by manufacturer,
Use working spray guns,
Both the object and material must have room temperature of 20ﹾC,
Apply correct proportion of base and hardener.

How to remove

Grinding and polishing,
Grinding and painting,

We do not recommend using universal thinners. The use of a thinner with an unknown composition may result in loss of adhesion, lack of proper flow of paint and varnish defects.

We recommend to always sand the surface between applying two different products to ensure uniform surface roughness and adhesion of subsequent layers. The sanded surface should also be cleaned and degreased.
