Product description "S2 Extra Shine Hologram Remover"

Eliminates defects after polishing and provides a perfect mirror finish. High quality minerals provide immaculate polishing, a mirror finish without holograms, and the optimal proportion of solids and a binder keeps your work area clean and makes the residual product easy to remove. Does not contain silicone.

Details of the application method

  • Surface Preparation:

    Clean the surface thoroughly.

    If necessary, roughen the surface (only when scratches need to be removed) with sandpaper above P3000.

  • Polish:

    Use a rotary mechanical polisher with adjustable speed.

    Begin polishing with a rotary polisher at low speed: 800 to 1000 rpm. Gradually increase the speed until the compound is completely distributed and the surface is fully glossy.

    The speed of the rotary polisher during the final polishing stage should not exceed 2000 rpm. To ensure the best quality of the polished surface, gradually reduce the pressure and speed.

  • Polishing Finish:

    Clean the surface of any remaining polish using a microfiber cloth. It is recommended to additionally protect the polished surface using:

    • S4 PROTECT WAX
    • S5 QUICK WAX

    Why the paint does not have the right flow?

    Possible causes

    • No thinning, wrong thinner or wrong amount of thinner
    • Wrong type of roll or brush (wrong bristle lenght)
    • Applying too much or too Little paint,
    • During painting process temperature was too high or the air was too dry,
    • Incorrect preparation of too porous surface,
    • Incorrect proportion of thinner.

    How to prevent

    • Use a brush/Toller suited to the type of surface or paint,
    • Use thinner which is dedicated to the type of application and paints
    • Use thinning proportions which was indicated by manufacturer,
    • Paint in right atmosphere conditions indicated by manufacturer,

    How to remove

    • Grind, clean and paint again.

    Can I mix polyurethane paints to get a different color?

    Yes, you can mix Sea-Line polyurethane paints. The only difference are the pigments of polyurethane paints that determine the color of the paint. But remember to keep the right proportions of base, hardener and thinner.

    Is it necessary to always sand the surface between application of two different products?

    We recommend to always sand the surface between applying two different products to ensure uniform surface roughness and adhesion of subsequent layers. The sanded surface should also be cleaned and degreased.
