Color

Exposure of a freshly applied antifouling paint to moist air can lead to color change.

The discoloration is only superficial and does not affect the effectiveness of the antifouling paint.

Product description "Silver Speed Hard Antifouling"

Ideal paint for professional and consumer application on salt and fresh water.
This antifouling is recommended to use on powerboats or sailboats, guaranteeing a smooth finish.
The Hard Antifouling Silver Speed is ideal for propellers, outdrives, sterngear and the waterline. Silver Speed Hard Antifouling Sea-Line® can be applied on hulls made of :
- laminate
- aluminium
- steel
- wooden
Provides protection for up to one year. Easy in application, no need to sand between coats, increased speed and efficiently.
Easy to apply.
Fast drying time.
Thinning is not recommended because it reduces the effectiveness of the paint.
As a primer coat, use Sea-Line® epoxy primer – for example: Sea-Line® Antisorrosiv protection 4:1, Lightprimer 5:1, Universal primer 1K.

How to prevent

Correct surface preparation (grinding, clearing, degreasing),
Use primers which improve adhesion of paints,
Use thinners which are dedicated to each paints,
Use of paints which are compatible to each other.

How to remove

Grind, clean and paint again.

We do not recommend using universal thinners. The use of a thinner with an unknown composition may result in loss of adhesion, lack of proper flow of paint and varnish defects.
