Product description "Thin Film Silver Racing Antifouling"

Ideal paint for professional and consumer application on salt and fresh water.
This antifouling is recommended to use on racing boat and powerboats, guaranteeing a smooth finish.
The hard and smooth film, achieved at easy application without sanding between coats, increased speed and efficiently.
Fast drying it’s quick overcoating and flexible launch times.
Easy in application, no need to sand between coats, increased speed and efficiently.
Thinning is not recommended because it reduces the effectiveness of the paint.
THIN FILM Silver Racing Sea-Line® can be applied on hulls made of :
- laminate
- steel
- wooden
- do not use on aluminium and zinc surfaces,
- do not use on primer which include aluminium components
As a primer coat, use Sea-Line® epoxy primer – for example: Sea-Line® Antisorrosiv protection 4:1, Lightprimer 5:1, Universal primer 1K.

If the scratches are not deep, then we can renew the scratched side by polishing with Sea-Line polishing pastes. Above the waterline, when the scratches are not deep, the surface can be repaired with a DRY FAST gel coat filler. Deep scratches should be filled with epoxy filler (selected depending on the requirements of the scratched surface), painted with a primer and then painted with topcoat.

Yes, you can paint the bottom of the boat with polyurethane paint due to its high mechanical strength. We recommend this solution when the boat is not launched for a long time and is not exposed to fouling.

Do not add more hardener, because after the base has cured, the remaining hardener will react with subsequent layers, which will be applied to the surface and cause defects. For the product to work properly, please follow the proportions given by the manufacturer.
