Planet Baltic Cup 2017

Race Planet Baltic Cup started on Polish coast in 2016.  During two edition we hosted 60 boats and about 150 sailors. The regatta partners are: Seaport Kołobrzeg, Marina Kołobrzeg, Red Bull, G.Gerlach, DAD Sportswear, Hiveberg, Code Zero, Sea-Line, Neptun, Sailor Port.

Patrons: Mayor of Kołobrzeg, TVP3 Szczcin, Żagle + Jachty motorowe

III edition Planet Baltic Cup will be held on May 20 -21, IV edition – August  26 -27

The Planet Baltic Cup regatta has been included to official calendar West Pomeranian District Sailing Association in class ORC. Accept yachts taking parts in ORC traditionally will start also contestant from class Sigma Active and NHC.

Racing will start on Friday – training day

On Saturday official check in at 9:30 am. Start is scheduled at 11 am. After race all contestant are invited for party in Marina Kołobrzeg. Finish regatta is scheduled on Sunday at 14.

Planet Baltic Cup 2017

Podczas III edycji będziemy gościć najmłodszych żeglarzy startujących w klasie Optimist. Wyścigi optymistów rozegrane zostaną w zależności od warunków na głównym akwenie regat lub wewnątrz kołobrzeskiego portu.
Podczas regat zaplanowana jest prezentacja jachtu Albatros 4.30 ze stoczni DAS Yacht Center. W obu edycjach regaty rozpoczną się w piątek dniem treningowym. Oficjalna odprawa sterników odbędzie się w sobotę o godzinie 9:30. Start pierwszego biegu przewidziany jest na godzinę 11.00.

Po zakończeniu biegów w sobotę, zawodnicy spotkają się na lądzie podczas imprezy integracyjnej w Marinie Solnej. Zakończenie regat planowane jest około godziny 14 w niedzielę.

III edycja -20 -21. 05. 2017(19.05 –oficjalny dzień treningowy)
IV edycja -26 -27. 08. 2017(25.08 –oficjalny dzień treningowy)
Miejsce: Marina Solna Kołobrzeg, ul.Warzelnicza 1
akwen regat: reda portu Kołobrzeg od wschodniej główki wejścia do portu do mola, w najbliższej możliwej odległości od plaży, teren Portu Kołobrzeg.

Prezentacja jachtu Albatros 4.30-1600

  • 1 dzień regat – sobota 20. 05. 2017
    • godz 0930 -rozpoczęcie regat, powitanie zawodników, odprawa sterników
    • godz 1100 -pierwszy bieg
    • godz 1500 -start ostatniego biegu
    • godz 1800 -wspólna biesiada w Marinie
  • 2 dzień regat – niedziela 21. 05. 2017
    • godz 0930 -rozpoczęcie dnia regatowego
    • godz 1030 -pierwszy bieg
    • godz 1400 -zakończenie regat, wręczenie nagród i pucharów

Regaty, komentowane są z kołobrzeskiego molo, co podwyższa ich atrakcyjność dla mieszkańców i turystów obserwujących wyścigi.

Can I use universal thinner?

We do not recommend using universal thinners. The use of a thinner with an unknown composition may result in loss of adhesion, lack of proper flow of paint and varnish defects.

Why are the streaks formed?

Possible causes

  • Wrong viscosity and spraying technique,
  • Failure to maintain proper evaporation time and thickness of layers,
  • Incorrect spraying pressure,
  • Too low temperature of varnish, surface or space ,
  • Wrong thinner or hardener.

How to prevent

  • Apply the right type of application method indicated by manufacturer,
  • Use working spray guns,
  • Both the object and material must have room temperature of 20ﹾC,
  • Apply correct proportion of base and hardener.

How to remove

  • Grinding and polishing,
  • Grinding and painting,

Can I add some thinner to antifouling paint?

There is a possibility of thinning antifouling, but we do not recommend this procedure due to the risk of reducing the effectiveness of the paint. If it is necessary to thin the antifouling paint, it is recommended to dilute it to a maximum of 0-5% (by volume).
